The Cottage
Brooklyn was built in the latter half of the
nineteenth century at the beginning of the Cardingmill Valley. A perfect setting; a few minutes walk in one direction will take you into the centre of town and in the other onto the Long Mynd and 500 acres of heathland managed by the National Trust.
There are walks and cycle rides straight from the door.

The Location
Church Stretton is the only town in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and its picturesque setting in a narrow valley through the South Shropshire hills earned it the nic-name of "Little Switzerland".
With the Long Mynd to one side and Wenlock Edge to the other Church Stretton could not be better placed for those keen on outdoor pursuits. Walking, horse riding, golf, gliding, hang gliding and cycling are all catered for nearby.
Church Stretton is also within easy reach of Shrewsbury, Ludlow, Hereford, Telford, The Ironbridge Gorge, Bridgnorth, Newtown and many other places worth visiting.
